Every fantasy story you've ever loved had its origin - a tragic death, a village attacked, a dark entity returned, a seemingly nobody called to action... just to name a few.
Whatever your favorite beginning might be, it's there for a reason. Because, as with all good epic fantasy, the stage must be set, and the scope of what is to come must be grand.
I was raised on stories from the likes of J.R.R. Tolkien, George R.R. Martin, R.A. Salvatore, Stephen R. Lawhead, John Gwynne, Ursula K. LeGuin, and many other amazing authors. As such, these are precisely the types of stories I aim to tell - the vibes, if you will.
